With only 25% of its terrain protected, the rest of its land requires observant protection and conservation through its reserves and national parks.
On this trip, volunteers are divided into four platforms where they can assist an area’s sustainability. Assignments may include trail maintenance, light construction, beach cleanup, day patrols, contributing to ongoing research, hiring new researchers, and smoothing the way for English-speaking visitors.
