Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is considered the nation’s safari capital. This vibrant city is known for its cultural diversity and is home to beautiful scenery and Nairobi National Park. While in Nairobi, volunteers will work in women’s centers to promote women's education and empowerment through income-generating projects. Volunteers will also help women in under-resourced communities and centers affected by HIV/AIDS. This trip is perfect for those interested in arts and crafts, as volunteering can include sewing, candle-making, jewelry making, and finance and business management courses. Volunteers will stay in selected homestays with local families offering a unique insight into Kenyan culture.
