In 2016 I travelled through Taiwan for 4 months, and with this video I'd like to show this beautiful country to you through my eyes. I experienced the busy lives in the big cities, got overwhelmed by the other-worldly peace of the nature, lost myself feeling at home in the countryside, and found value in the numerous traditions the Taiwanese people hold in such high regard. Enjoy these impressions - and I hope that one day you'll have the chance to visit Taiwan and to see all of this with your own eyes! www.tiemo-weidemann.com www.facebook.com/tiemoweidemann Filmed entirely with the Panasonic Lumix GH4, Metabones Speedbooster XL, SIGMA 18-35mm f1.8, Nikkor 50mm f1.8 This video wouldn't have been possible without the help of a lot of wonderful people who helped me during this journey. I thank each and one of them deeply! Filmed and edited by Tiemo Weidemann Music: Forever Undefeated by Score Squad [licensed though www.premiumbeat.com] The places I've visited: Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Tainan, Lukang, Jiufen, Gaomei Wetlands, Alishan, Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial, Shoushan National Park, Sun Moon Lake, Taijiang National Park, Yangmingshan National Park

Taiwan Face-To-Face

February 7, 2019

Taiwan, a state in East Asia, neighbors the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and the Philippines. The videographer, Tiemo Weidemann, comments on his filming saying “I travelled through Taiwan for 4 months, and with this video I'd like to show this beautiful country through my eyes. I experienced the busy lives in the big cities, got overwhelmed by the other-worldly peace of the nature, lost myself feeling at home in the countryside and found value in the numerous traditions the Taiwanese people hold in such high regard.”
