Experience Oaxaca During the Day of the Dead

Explore New Zealand’s South Island

New Zealand, Aotearoa in the native Maori language, is known for its stunning natural landscapes, mountain ranges, and diverse ecosystems. i This trip begins in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. Before visiting Abel Tasman National Park, travelers can enjoy the city’s cafe culture and hidden bars. Search for Gorillas in Uganda

East Africa’s Uganda is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and is home to many mountainous and forested national parks, as well as the largest freshwater lake on the continent. This trip begins in Uganda's capital Kampala, called “the city of seven hills”. Kampala is the largest city in the country and its financial and economic center. Next, travelers will visit Lake Bunyonyi, a “place of many little birds.” Lake Bunyonyi is known for its green terraced hills and twenty-nine islands. From here, travelers can go on a guided mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After this, travelers will return to Lake Bunyonyi to enjoy the area and have the chance to go on a motorboat tour, a bird-watching walk, rent a canoe, or simply go swimming. Travelers will then travel to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve, adjacent to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where they can go on a boat cruise around Crater Lake. Before a last stop in the city of Jinja, travelers will get to visit Lake Mburo National Park and visit a tea plantation and boat safari on Lake Mburo. Explore the Volcano Trail Across Central America

Guatemala with its tropical climate, giant mountains and vast lakes, is known for its natural wonders. This trip begins in Antigua, home to the Santa Catalina Arch and the Hill of the Cross. This Guatemalan city is famous for being one of the best places to study Spanish and has gorgeous scenery, including views of volcanoes. From there, travelers will head East to Honduras, a country full of Mayan ruins and beautiful beaches. Travelers' first stop in Honduras are the ruins of Copan, a historic Mayan town. Here, they can visit the Luna Jaguar hot springs or go on a tour of the ruins. Travelers will then cross into El Salvador, visit Suchitoto, and then head to La Libertad Region, an area full of beach towns where the group can relax or take a surf lesson. After this, travelers will venture into Leon, Nicaragua’s commercial and agricultural center. The next stop in Nicaragua is Granada, a city full of colorful buildings and one of the oldest occupied colonial cities. Here, travelers can hike and explore, go on a day excursion to Masaya Volcano, visit Mi Museo Cultural Museum, or visit Laguna de Apoyo. Travelers will then enter Costa Rica, a country known for its biodiversity with features such as beaches, volcanoes and rainforests. They will visit Isla de Ometepe here, which is known for its petroglyphs and stone idols. Travelers can go to Ojo de Agua swimming hole, visit beaches or go hiking. Next, travelers will visit Monteverde and its cloud forests. The mountainous Monteverde is home to the highest concentration of orchids on Earth. Tanzania is a country in Africa known for its wildlife and culture. Thirty percent of the country is made up of national parks, with the city of Arusha being its safari capital On this trip, travelers will experience the Serengeti National Park, famed for its wildlife spotting and safaris, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, and visit Zanzibar, an island off the coast of the country known for its pristine water and cultural traditions. On this trip travelers will be able to immerse themselves in both the culture and natural beauty of Costa Rica while journeying from Liberia to Tamarindo. The trip will begin in the city of Liberia, the largest city in the Guanacaste Province and known as a gateway to the pristine shores of the Pacific coast. Here, travelers will spend a day exploring the city before visiting Poza Los Coyotes, a natural park filled with turquoise pools and beautiful caves. After swimming, tubing and hiking through the park, travelers will spend the night in the beach town of Nosara before visiting Playa Guiones, one of the most scenic beaches in Costa Rica. With an average water temperature of around 82 degrees Fahrenheit, the beach is perfect for surfing, swimming and boogie boarding. The next day, travelers will stop at Guaitil, where they will learn about the small village’s unique Chorotega-style pottery. This form of pottery was devised by the Chorotega Indigenous tribes, and involves mixing clay and sand from iguana nests and paints made from minerals. The final day will be spent in Tamarindo, where travelers can participate in a surf lesson before venturing off to try a range of activities, including snorkeling, zip-lining, kayaking or relaxing on the local beaches and in the evening experience its vibrant nightlife, with an array of bars and restaurants.
