22 Solo Women Travelers Give Their Top Travel Tips

January 19, 2018

ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTIONS about traveling is that it’s not safe for women to travel alone.

Since I didn’t want to produce a video of me mansplaining about solo women traveling, I asked the women in my YouTube audience to send in videos of them answering 5 questions about their personal experience of traveling alone.

I ended up with 22 different women from around the world sending in their stories.

The result is a 12-minute video packed full of tips and advice, covering a wide range of topics including pre-trip nerves, making friends while traveling, staying safe on the road, and fears of sexual assault.

I hope this video will inspire and encourage other women to go traveling by themselves.
