A surreal, atmospheric descent into the psyche of a Muay Thai boxer in the days leading up to a fight. This intimate portrait reveals the rituals and pressures in Bangkok's boxing culture that have shaped our boxer and that cause him mounting physical and psychological tension as his dedication, faith, and doubt intersect. Shot at a bare-bones training gym on the grounds of a Buddhist Temple, and in Bangkok’s historic Rajadamnern Stadium, the film captures the world-wide phenomenon of Muay Thai as it has been practiced for centuries. Its authenticity is the product of two years' work, multiple research trips, and two long days of filming with a dedicated Thai production team.
